About the Role

As the Product Owner, your primary responsibility is to strategically oversee and drive the development of complex software models by the MINT sub-team. This diagnostic model is vital for our customers, ensuring our complex systems are easier and preferably predictable to maintain, and enabling effective remote assistance when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

Co-Leadership & Team Enablement: Co-lead an agile/Scrum team, actively supporting the team to ensure they work efficiently and effectively towards product goals.
Prioritization & Roadmapping: Use your expertise to prioritize development needs from multiple concurrent projects, skillfully aligning these short-term demands with the long-term strategic development goals for the Specialty Engineering products.
Resource & Capacity Planning: Assess the team’s current skill set and capacity to meet incoming demands and prepare for future technical challenges.
Future Consulting: On a longer-term basis, you will be expected to provide technical consultation and support to the other Specialty Engineering sub-teams (RAM-HF, EMC, etc.).

Competenties

You possess proven experience in Product Ownership (or an equivalent role) of at least 5 years or recent, dedicated experience as a Product Owner.
You have hands-on experience with JIRA for managing Scrum or Kanban workflows.
You are a creative, proactive problem-solver with excellent stakeholder management skills.
You are a strong communicator (listening, asking the right questions, and expressing yourself professionally and openly).
You are results-oriented with a high sense of responsibility and accountability.
You thrive in a team environment, able to convince, inspire, coach, and support team members.
You possess the ability to quickly understand and translate the needs of highly technical clients and application owners.
Fluency in both spoken and written English and Dutch is required.
You currently live in the Netherlands or nearby and are willing to commute to the Hengelo office for the mandatory 3 days per week.
