Are you a driven EHS professional with a passion for safety in complex construction environments? Do you want to contribute to the design and execution of safe construction projects within a high-tech setting? Then this role within ASML Corporate Real Estate is for you!

As the Snr. EHS Specialist, you will be the linchpin between project managers and EHS policy. You will advise and support them in integrating safety into both the design phase and the execution phase of construction projects. You ensure that risks are identified and controlled in a timely manner, and that the client's duty of due diligence (vergewisplicht) is met.

Functie-eisen

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Advising project managers on EHS aspects in design and execution.
• Checking and safeguarding Safety & Health (V&G) documentation.
• Conducting audits, inspections, and observation rounds on construction sites.
• Assessing work permits and supervising high-risk activities.
• Participation in safety studies.
• Contributing to incident investigations.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including emergency services and contractors.

Competenties

Experience and Education:

• Higher professional education (HBO) work and thinking level, preferably in safety science or a (construction) technical direction.
• 5 to 8 years of experience as an EHS expert within a construction company, maintenance organization, or on the client side.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and safety management systems.
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
• Experience with drafting and assessing Safety & Health (V&G) plans is a plus.

Skills and Competencies:

• EHS is your passion, and with your skills, especially communication, you know how to get things done.
• Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.
• You are a good communicator: open, honest, and respectful in your communication with others.
• Strong communication skills and persuasiveness.
• Personal Skills: Motivated, Stress-resistant, social, team player, constructive, accurate.
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral, Dutch and English), ability to communicate with external parties.
• Ability to analyze difficult situations and act constructively and rationally.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden

Primary employment conditions

• A monthly salary up to €6400
• A 13th month payment, pro-rated periodically
• 8.33% holiday allowance calculated on 12 monthly salaries

Secondary employment conditions

• Pension Plus scheme (build-up from day 1)
• 5% ADV allowance
• Net €750,- to set up your home workplace
• 25 vacation days per year based on 40 hours
• Travel allowance
• Internet allowance
• Home working allowance
