Join the FPGA group within Philips Electronic Systems & IoT as a trusted engineering solutions partner, where you'll leverage the power and flexibility of FPGAs and SoC platforms to accelerate innovation in first-of-a-kind healthcare products. This role focuses on implementing and connecting signal processing in high-bandwidth streaming applications across a wide range of products, including IGT systems, MRI systems, and patient monitoring devices.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of FPGA design, ensuring solutions meet customer needs and adhere to strict quality standards.

  • Design & Implementation: Design, implement, and rigorously test the FPGA solution according to customer requirements and specifications.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain proper documentation for the developed design.
  • Process Compliance: Participate actively in requirements definition, design reviews, implementation, and release processes.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the design complies with all requested quality norms and is comfortable with quality reviews by peers.

Planning & Reporting: Draw up a personal schedule and report on progress in a structured way.

Functie-eisen

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Informatics, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in VHDL and/or Verilog coding.
  • Experienced in working with major FPGA vendors and their tools.
  • Proven track record in implementing high-speed design and high-speed interfaces.
  • Skilled in using version control, CI/CD pipelines, and regression test frameworks.
  • Strong analytical skills in problem solving using system debug and functional simulation test benches.
  • Experienced in writing specifications and detailed design documentation.
