We are seeking a talented professional to join a strategic project on behalf of our client, KPN, one of the leading telecommunications providers in the Netherlands. In this dynamic role, you will be the driving force behind two critical workstreams: the Security Validation Framework and the Automation Framework. You will not just manage tasks; you will orchestrate the efforts of diverse teams from KPN, Nokia, and our internal experts to deliver a secure, resilient, and highly automated network infrastructure. Your leadership will directly contribute to the integrity and efficiency of a core component of the national telecom infrastructure.

As the Technical Project Manager, you will take ownership of the following key areas:

Automation Framework:

Spearhead the integration of security validation processes, including PVM scanning of container images with Qualys, directly into the CI/CD pipeline.
Drive the creation and implementation of robust hardening guidelines for all automated components.
Act as the central point of contact, fostering seamless collaboration between development, operations, and KPN's security stakeholders to align on objectives and timelines.

Security Framework:

Take full ownership of the security deliverables lifecycle, from planning and execution of PEN testing, hardening, and malware detection to the meticulous collection of RVIT evidence.
Champion compliance with KPN's rigorous security requirements (KSP), acting as the primary liaison for all security-related approvals and reporting.
Lead the vulnerability management process, guiding teams through root cause analysis, risk assessment, and the development of effective mitigation strategies.

Functie-eisen

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as IT, Cybersecurity, Telecommunications, or Computer Science.
A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, with a strong focus on cybersecurity, automation, or complex infrastructure projects.
Hands-on experience with security practices and tools, including vulnerability management (e.g., Qualys), PEN testing methodologies, and compliance processes like RVIT.
Solid understanding of modern DevOps environments, including container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks.
Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to navigate complex corporate environments and influence outcomes across multiple partners.
A proactive, results-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact setting.
