Senior Embedded Software Engineer - Connectivity

As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you'll join the Connectivity Software, Test and Verification group, where you'll be instrumental in developing high-quality connectivity solutions for our wide range of products, from personal healthcare devices to connected defibrillators. You'll work in a global, fast-paced environment, designing and implementing embedded software that truly makes a difference in people's lives.

Your Responsibilities

Design and implement embedded C++ software for our connectivity platform.
Participate in all phases of the software lifecycle, from requirements to release.
Ensure your software meets all quality norms and participate in design and code reviews.
Create automated unit and integration tests within chosen frameworks.
Provide input for planning, manage your backlog, and document your work thoroughly.

Functie-eisen

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in embedded software development.
Expertise in C++ programming and strong Object-Oriented Design skills.
Experience with BLE, Wi-Fi, and Cellular product development.
Familiarity with medical regulatory standards (e.g., ISO13485, IEC62304).
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical field.

Desired Skills & Behaviors

Experience with test-driven development and refactoring techniques.
Comfortable with Agile methodologies and pair programming.

Compensation & benefits

Primary employment conditions

Monthly salary as per market standards
A 13th month payment, pro-rated periodically
8.33% holiday allowance calculated on 12 monthly salaries

Net €750,- to set up your home workplace
25 vacation days per year based on 40 hours
Travel allowance
Internet allowance
