Do you want to work on projects that directly contribute to the safety of air travel? Join our team as a Manufacturing Engineer Product & Planning at our multi-technology manufacturing campus.
As a key member of our Integrated Product Team (IPT), you'll be instrumental in ensuring the smooth production of landing gear components. You'll prepare and manage crucial product documentation, analyze production data to improve efficiency, and develop technical solutions for complex challenges—all with a safety-first mindset.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Improve production processes by analyzing product characteristics, and through lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Resolving non-conformities and aiming to become an authorized approver.
- Manage and prepare non-conformity documentation for both Level 1 (L1) and Level 2 (L2) issues.
- Implementing and managing tooling and production planning.
- Conducting root cause analysis to eliminate future issues.
- Supporting manufacturing development and integrating new technologies into production.
- Create temporary production instructions to support operational deliveries.

Functie-eisen
- Job requirements:Degree in a related Engineering discipline, such as Aerospace, Mechanical, Automotive
- 10+ years' experience in Manufacturing Engineering (incl. traineeships) in Aerospace, Automotive (engines and turbo only), or any other metal machining industry with low volumes production and high complexity manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of / experience with Non-Conform Product Process
- Experience in managing (new) Product / Process introduction (industrialization) & existing production process improvements; and working knowledge of quality system models (e.g. ISO9000, AS9100, or D1-9000).

- Ability to influence people, build trust and establish effective working relationship within a global organization.
- Fluency in English, both in writing & speaking
- Quality driven and strong documentation / reporting skills.
- Working knowledge of machining processes (milling, mill-turn, boring, honing) and of surface treatment processes (heat treatment, plating, shot-peen, NDI) would be an advantage.

It concerns a secondment agreement at GKN Fokker Aerospace BV via Yacht for 1 year, with possibility of extension and a permanent contract at the company after the first year.
We offer a competitive salary, between €4.800 and 6.000,- per month based on 40 h per week)
Full-time (40 h p/w preferred; 32-36 h p/w is discussible)
Start date: October 2025
