About the Role Join a high-impact defense program developing FüWES, the integrated Command & Weapon Engagement System for the German Navy’s F126 frigates. As a Software Test Engineer, you’ll work in an Agile team focused on functional testing, automation, and system validation. Your contributions ensure the performance, reliability, and safety of this advanced naval combat system. Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with software and system engineers to define and execute test strategies.
Develop and maintain automated, functional, exploratory, and unit tests (using Cucumber, Google Test).
Contribute to system integration, CI/CD processes, and on-target delivery.
Perform system-level validation and support ongoing integration efforts.
Maintain test documentation and contribute to test planning within Agile workflows.

What You Bring

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.
5+ years of relevant experience in software (test) engineering.
ISTQB certification.
Passion for technology and quality assurance in complex systems.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Dutch nationality (mandatory for security clearance – Level B, AIVD/MIVD).
