Reachtruck driver

For the Central Receiving Warehouse (COM) of DAF, we are looking for reach truck drivers with driving experience. Within this warehouse, four logistics teams are engaged in activities such as receiving, checking, driving to location, and picking various truck parts at height. This can involve both heavy pallets and small products.

• You have a valid reach truck certificate, or it has recently expired;
• You have at least 2 years of driving experience on a reach truck;
• You speak and read Dutch well or are willing to learn it;
• You can work under time pressure.

All picked parts are delivered from the warehouse to the DAF Engine Factory or Truck Factory and are used immediately for production. It is therefore important that the work is performed correctly and on time, as production must not be delayed.

You will be working in a professional organization within a fixed team, where you and your colleagues rotate tasks. You will be trained by an instructor. After your training period, your range of tasks will be gradually expanded until you are eventually fully versatile and can be assigned to all workstations. In your work, it is important to maintain a good balance between quality and speed.
