We are looking for a Consumer Inventory Lead to join the team at Nike EHQ in Hilversum. In this role you are responsible for achieving and maintaining healthy inventory levels that enable delivering revenue and margin targets for EMEA.
You’ll have a strong ability to understand how consumer demand is likely to influence current and future inventory levels, maintain a holistic view of seasonal buy strategies and keep yourself updated with the latest supply chain developments.
You’ll deliver insights to Business Leadership & Cross Functional Partners on inventory risks, identify opportunities to improve on key inventory planning metrics. You’ll establish action plans to improve operating practices, influence cross-functional stakeholders to drive change and follow through on the execution of these plans to optimally balance inventory health against revenue opportunities and margin contributions.

What you will bring:
- Master’s degree in Operations Management, Operations Research, or Supply Chain, or 4 years of relevant experience.
- Self-starter, solution-driven, and passionate about problem-solving.
- Strong understanding of analytical and statistical forecasting techniques.
- Strong numerical skills, detail-oriented, and able to work in a deadline-driven environment.
- Demonstrated ability to influence diverse stakeholders, drive action and decisions, and leverage E2E business perspective and strategic thinking.
- Experience engaging and communicating across different organizational levels, including presenting complex analysis to a senior audience.
- Strong computer and data analytics skills, including advanced Excel and experience with seeking information across multiple sources and tools.
- Desired skills include experience with think-cell, TM1, Cognos BI/Planning Analytics, SAP, Tableau development, statistical programming (Python or R), and basic knowledge of database or programming languages (SQL or VBA).
What you will be doing:
- Lead the operating model that sustains a healthy weeks of supply metric for Nike’s E2E inventory in EMEA, supporting revenue goals and retail sales plans.
- Lead the process of forecasting and reporting on Nike’s inventory position for your product portfolio, using your business insights to identify and present risks and opportunities, driving the actions needed to achieve and maintain the healthy invent
- Work with our marketplace and consumer teams to ensure the actions needed to achieve and maintain inventory health are completed on time.
- Analyze and understand Nike’s current and future inventory and marketplace data to create business cases that model the inventory impact of Nike’s short-mid and long-term strategies.
