- Experience in a high-tech production or machine operation environment is preferred.
- Technical background (vocational education or similar) is a strong plus.
- Strong attention to detail, quality, and process control.
- Ability to work independently in a 5-shift rotation schedule.
- Fluency in English or Dutch
As a Process Operator, you perform quality checks based on clear instructions. You report issues quickly to avoid delays. You check if parts and documents meet quality standards before moving to the next step. You safely operate machines and follow instructions closely. You set up equipment for production and pilot runs. You monitor output and fix problems early. You keep accurate records of your work. You work well with others, take feedback seriously, and follow safety rules. Minimum education is a high school diploma or similar. No experience needed. Preferred: Lean Six Sigma or safety-related training.
- Operate and monitor Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS) machines in a high-tech production environment.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting of machinery.
- Ensure product quality through visual inspections and basic measurement tools.
- Follow strict work instructions and safety guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with the production and engineering teams.
As a Process operator, you'll be part of the DMLS department, which stands for Direct Metal Laser Sintering. In this department, we 3D-print components using tungsten powder (a type of metal powder). These components are then integrated into the X-ray system. Our operators manage the entire process from start to finish. They take measurements and address any challenges proactively. Ensuring the highest quality is their responsibility, including accurate documentation of administrative tasks and careful packaging of goods after inspection.
