To keep the process running, it is important that you, as a welding operator, meet the following requirements:

• You are 18 years or older;
• You speak English or Dutch;
• You are willing to participate in a training program;
• You are available to work a 3-shift system;
• You are available Monday through Friday;
• You hold a VCA certificate or are willing to obtain one;
• You are comfortable working in a dusty environment.

As a welding operator at SIF, you will work with semi-automatic welding machines to create welded joints between different metal plates. You will receive training for this role, and yes, you will be paid during the training!

Your tasks will include:

• Creating welded joints according to welding specifications;
• Correctly setting up and operating the machines;
• Performing maintenance on production machines and equipment;
• Conducting inspections and tests before starting production;
• Reporting production data and maintaining relevant documentation.
