Velder is looking for motivated full-time order pickers. You need to speak Dutch or English well, as you’ll be working with systems and communicating with colleagues. Experience in logistics or operating an EPT is a plus, but not required. The company also offers various training opportunities to support your personal development. Occasionally, you may be scheduled to work on a Saturday.

• You’re willing to work in Bodegraven;
• You’re available full-time;
• You have experience operating an EPT;
• You are 18 years or older;
• You speak Dutch or English;
• You have your own transport;
• You’re available for a 2-shift schedule.

You’ll be working in the Maintenance department, where the temperature is around 14 degrees Celsius. Using an EPT, you’ll process pallets of cheese. You’ll ensure that the production lines are supplied with cheeses that require maintenance — such as applying a protective coating and turning the cheeses. This process is fully automated. While operating your EPT, you’ll use a WMS screen to receive orders and confirm them once completed. The work is not physically demanding.

• You collect various cheese products in a chilled warehouse (around 14 degrees Celsius;
• You supply the lines with cheeses for maintenance (applying a cheese layer and turning the cheeses). This is all done by machine;
• Experience driving an OPT or EPT (Order Picker Truck or Electric Pallet Truck) is a plus.

At Velder Ripening, four million kilograms of cheese, primarily whole Dutch cheeses, are matured and maintained. This maintenance involves applying the hard cheese layer and regularly turning the cheeses. Velder's clients range from large cheese companies to specialty cheese shops. When you start, Velder provides you with a jacket, a hat, a neck warmer, and gloves. Randstad will provide you with a pair of work shoes. You'll also have a locker available in the changing room and receive an access badge. On your first day, you'll receive one-on-one guidance and be trained on the systems.

• Allowances: You'll receive a 40% allowance for hours worked between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM, a 30% allowance for hours between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM, and a 40% allowance for hours between 10:00 PM and midnight.
• Travel Reimbursement: You'll get €0.21 per kilometer in travel reimbursement, for a maximum of 30 kilometers one way.
• Workwear: To keep you comfortable in the chilled warehouse (around 14 degrees Celsius), you'll receive warm clothing, including a jacket, hat, and gloves.
