introduction

Within the team of DAF we are looking for welding employees for the Lasgroep and/or Pijpfabricage. At DAF in Eindhoven, the metal parts of DAF are produced in the Platen Komponenten Fabriek (PKF). As a welder you will contribute to the production of these parts. You will work on the basis of technical drawings. The work will mainly consist of manual welding and working with a welding robot and MIG/MAG welding by hand.

who you are

You won't just become a welder in this top team! For this you need a level 1 or 2 diploma in MIG/MAG welding. We also require full-time availability in 3 shifts.

  • Level 2 MIG/MAG Welding certificate
  • Experience in welding (by hand)
  • Fulltime availability in 3 shifts
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings

what will you do

Within DAF's Lasgroep and Pijpfabricage, many different parts of DAF trucks are welded. This is done through welding robots and manual welding. As a Welder you are an operator of these robots you have to set all robots properly, or you are a manual welder where you weld different pipe work together. You will also perform a final inspection on the final product and, where necessary, you will do manual welding in order to maintain certain quality standards. Think for example of welding seams and re-welding parts. It is important that you weld good quality products because this is a high priority at DAF.

where will you work

DAF Trucks is a large truck manufacturer, located in Eindhoven. On this production site you have several factories that together ultimately produce DAF Trucks. Within the Pijpfabricage and Lasgroep in the Plaat Komponenten Fabriek (PKF) you will be working in an environment that breathes metal. You and your team are constantly looking to improve the products made. Quality and result orientation are very important and should be handled at all times.
