Supervisor Stock Control

Are you ready for the next step in your career? We are looking for a Supervisor Stock Control. You will be employed at the worldwide company Samsung SDS Smart Logistics in Born. You will lead and manage your own stock control team. You will be the first point of contact for internal customers. And you can contribute to improvements and new ideas.

You can be our Supervisor Stock Control if you have some experience in leading a team. You describe yourself as someone with communication and persuasion skills. Furthermore, you are good with MS Office and preferably Warehouse Management Systems. Next to that, you:

• have a Bachelor or Master degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
• can write and speak in English

The Supervisor Stock Control is in lead of the Operational Stock Control Team. The team is a mix of Stock Controllers, Stock Counters, Cycle Counters, Cello WMS Superusers and an Item Master Specialist. They are an enthusiastic team with an “every day better” mindset. You will manage and monitor your team to ensure an optimal use of warehouse capacity. You report to the Warehouse Manager Operations Support.
Your key tasks are:

• Create an environment for the team to facilitate process improvements.
• Contribute to staff training and development, and improvement plans and projects.
• First contact for the Customer Service Team to solve customer complaints.
• Manage and report stock discrepancies, blocked stock processing, rework and repack.
• Manage weekly and daily occupancy forecast and reporting.
• Create warehouse occupancy impact analyses, and initiate actions for optimal usage of the warehouse capacity.
• In charge of accurate WMS item master and location master parameters.
• Work according to the applicable SOP’s (Standard Operation Procedures).
