You have experience in this field and are looking for the next opportunity. You have Dutch work permit and are ready for the next step. Besides that you see yourself in the following points:

  • A relevant MBO Education (preferably in logistics);
  • 0-3 years of experience in a comparative function and field;
  • Able to handle suppliers and address issues with them, hands-on;
  • Determined and “eager to learn” mentality;
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written;
  • Excellent analytical, and communication skills;
  • Accurate, service minded, and able to set priorities;
  • Experience in working with automated systems and sound knowledge of Microsoft Access (Outlook, Word, Excel, est.).

In this role you will have different responsibilities. Improve the delivery (performance) and the information quality of the (factories) suppliers in order to achieve the allocation level determined by the organization towards the market and to optimize the stock while maintaining this level, as well as performing (factory) supplier evaluations, in consultation with the buyers and/or the P&I Team leader and/or the P&I Department Manager, to further strengthen the relation, increase the efficiency and to contribute to Purchasing excellence. Also evaluate, develop, train (improve) and control suppliers, according to the operational requirements and prior conditions of the YME warehouse operation. Other tasks will be:

  • Ensure the timely collection and analysis of necessary information from suppliers and the YME product planning.
  • Verify and update fit-up rates and forecasts from the sales team.
  • Determine initial order quantity.
  • Coordinate, analyse and predict the demand for Yamaha products (during the product life cycle)
  • Train, support, and direct the Purchase & Inventory Administrators, so that they can optimally perform and assist you.
  • Draw up monthly reports, including: stock level, outstanding orders
