Ramp service agent

As ramp service employee you will be working for Viggo at Schiphol Airport. You will work between the incoming and departing planes. It is a varied job where no day is the same! One moment you will be working in the baggage basement and the next moment you will be loading and unloading airplanes. If this appeals to you, read on immediately!

As a ramp service employee at Viggo , you will be doing physical work part of the time. It is therefore important that you do not find this a problem. Before you can start working, you will apply for a VGB screening. This is a screening by the Royal Military Police. For this screening it is important that you have no criminal record and have lived in the Netherlands for the past 8 years. Furthermore, we ask the following from you as a ramp service employee.

• You are a team player and take responsibility
• You are in possession of a driver license B
• You can speak English

As a ramp service employee at Viggo you are responsible for the accurate and timely handling of flights for Transavia and Air Europa. You can think of the loading and unloading of aircraft, but also the push-back of aircraft is part of your tasks. You will work closely with colleagues and make sure you support each other where necessary.

You will have the opportunity to develop in a variety of areas and functions. If you want to learn something else after a while, you can move on to another position at Viggo. It is important to know that you will always be doing varied work. So this should not be a problem for you.

• Sorting, loading and unloading baggage
• Driving luggage from basement to aircraft
• Placing brake pads and pawns
• Ensuring that the baggage belt reaches the aircraft
• Connecting power units
