As an electrician at VDL Bus Valkenswaard, you build buses specially developed for customers. You are someone who likes to think with us about improving work processes. Furthermore, you have:

• completed MBO+, HBO technical education in electrical engineering, mechatronics or automotive;
• Do you only have the basic diploma of a technical education? No problem, you can continue your studies internally through a BBL course;
• preferably, you have work experience in the automotive sector and/or mechanical engineering;
• you have experience as an electrician;
• a good command of the Dutch and/or English language, both verbally and in writing.

As a bus electrician, your responsibilities include designing electrical schematics.

• installs customer-specific systems such as payment or navigation systems;
• flawlessly installs the high-voltage drivelines of the electric buses;
• tests the software behind the control systems;
• adjusts motor drives of various types and manufacturers according to instructions;
• quickly detects and repairs faults or error messages in electrical systems.
