The Role
Join our global FPGA group as a trusted engineering partner for Philips’ worldwide businesses. You will design and implement high-bandwidth SoC-based solutions for advanced healthcare systems, including MRI, IGT, and Patient Monitoring. This is a technically deep role in a multicultural environment that balances structured long-term development with exploratory engineering challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Implement: Create and verify FPGA/SoC designs for high-speed medical interfaces.
- End-to-End Ownership: Drive requirements, architecture, testing, and release.
- System Debugging: Perform functional simulations and system-level troubleshooting.
- Collaboration: Contribute to team backlogs, code reviews, and technical documentation.
Functie-eisen
What We Are Looking For
- Education: BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering, Informatics, or equivalent.
- Experience: 5–10+ years of relevant FPGA experience.
- Tech Stack: Expert-level VHDL/Verilog and experience with major vendor toolchains (Xilinx/Intel).
- High-Speed Design: Proven track record with high-bandwidth interfaces and signal processing.
- Industry Background: Experience in Medical, Aerospace, Automotive, or Defense is highly valued.
- Mindset: Comfortable with CI/CD, version control, and navigating global stakeholder dynamics.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden
Primary employment conditions
- Monthly salary as per market standards
- 8 % holiday allowance calculated on 12 monthly salaries
