Our client - Siemens Energy - is currently expanding their logistics team and is looking for two dedicated professionals to support their wind energy operations.
We have openings for Onshore position.
The job is to support an offshore wind farm from an onshore warehouse.
There isn't much heavy lifting as there is a crane. The role is a mix of a storekeeper and an administrator; they handle everything from physical tasks to inventory control.
We are looking for someone who can almost immediately handle a role that is 70% administrative work on a computer.
The proficiency in Excel/SAP is really important, at least basic knowledge, but more is preferable.
Key responsibilities:
- Controlling stock and inventories using SAP
- Assisting technicians with packing and picking materials, and managing the return of tools and parts.
- The job is approximately 70% administrative work (computer-based) and 30% physical work.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Manage ordering, receiving, picking, issuing, packing, and dispatching of inventory with accurate, auditable records
- Conduct weekly cycle checks, stock counts, 5S self-audits, and maintain inventory control using MRP systems such as SAP
- Ensure a safe, clean, and legally compliant work environment including COSHH handling and PPE equipment storage
- Maintain security and control of safety equipment and tooling, raising appropriate documentation for Dangerous Goods (ADR/IATA/IMDG)
- Identify and report opportunities for process improvements and support implementation with the site manager
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure operational flexibility without compromising procedural integrity
- Uphold excellent storage and documentation practices to meet health, safety, and environmental obligation

To be successful in this role you need to have:
- Strong warehousing or logistics background, with hands-on experience in fast-moving product environments.
- Proficiency in SAP/Excel and other inventory management tools, with expertise in warehouse operations and stock control
- Knowledge and compliance with COSHH regulations and dangerous goods handling

Arbeidsvoorwaarden
For Onshore Storekeeper:
- Workplace: Onshore Warehouse in Ijmuiden
- Work schedule: in a rotational scheme, 4 days on, 4 days off, with 12-hour p/d shifts. The start and end times are flexible, generally between 6 AM and 9 PM, with a common schedule being 7 AM to 7 PM.
We offer a temporary contract via Yacht, with the possibility of extension.
Salary: A competitive monthly salary based on your experience. You will always receive 100% of your salary throughout your employment at Yacht.
