Are you a technical problem-solver who thrives at the intersection of high-end R&D and hands-on manufacturing? ASML Motion, located in Oirschot, is looking for a Production Engineer to join our self-sustaining factory. Here, we don’t just build machines; we create the ultra-precise linear actuators—the "muscles"—that allow ASML’s lithography systems to move with nanometer accuracy.
As a Production Engineer, you are the technical backbone of our production lines, ensuring that complex designs are translated into a flawless, scalable manufacturing process.
Functie-eisen
Your goal is to bridge the gap between complex engineering designs and a lean, high-output production environment. You own the technical process, from the moment a new product is introduced (NPI) to the continuous optimization of existing lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Design & Ownership: Create and maintain detailed work instructions, process flow charts, and production tooling. You ensure the "recipe" for our actuators is perfect.
- High-Level Troubleshooting: Provide 2nd line technical support. When the front line encounters a structural disturbance, you dive deep into the root cause to get production back on track.
- Failure Analysis: Lead investigations into non-conforming products or quality complaints. You don’t just fix the symptom; you solve the problem using methodologies like FMEA.
- Continuous Improvement: Use Data and Lean principles (SPC, Six Sigma) to identify bottlenecks and implement structural improvements in the production flow.
- NPI (New Product Introduction): Collaborate with Development & Engineering (D&E) to ensure new designs are optimized for manufacturing (Design for Manufacturing).
- Knowledge Sharing: Act as a coach for operators and junior engineers, securing the high level of technical expertise required in our factory.
Competenties
Your Profile
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Applied Physics, or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience: 3-5 years in a high-tech production environment. Experience with (semi-)automated lines and quality tools like SPC and FMEA is a significant advantage.
- Mindset: You combine an analytical, data-driven approach with a "roll-up-your-sleeves" mentality. You enjoy being on the shop floor as much as you do analyzing data at your desk.
- Communication: Fluent in English (and preferably Dutch), with the social skills to align with both shop-floor operators and high-level design engineers.
