As a System Test Automation Engineer at Philips IGT, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the excellence and reliability of complex medical systems. Your mission is to architect and manage automated testing solutions that accelerate verification cycles, catch defects early, and maintain high performance standards through consistent, repeatable testing.
You will act as a bridge between development, manual testing, and framework teams to build a cohesive, scalable automation ecosystem that thrives within a continuous integration environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a domain expert and mentor, establishing best practices for scripting, framework utilization, and high-level automation standards.
- Partner with teams to set quality benchmarks and automation goals, fostering a culture of technical excellence and rigorous process review.
- Build and sustain robust automated scripts using C#, Reqnroll, and the FAST framework, ensuring seamless integration with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and VTP.
- Coordinate with the Enablers team to source and validate necessary adapters and keywords, while aligning with various system domains (Positioning, Acquisition, etc.) to ensure comprehensive, non-redundant coverage.
- Run tests across physical and virtual environments to verify system reliability, while actively troubleshooting "flaky" tests to optimize execution speed and accuracy.
- Link automated results to platforms like Companion RV&S and ADS dashboards to provide stakeholders with real-time insights into system health.
- Stay at the forefront of the industry by exploring new tools (such as SenseUI or logging-based automation) to drive efficiency in a regulated medical environment.
Functie-eisen
- Proficiency in Reqnroll, NUnit, Cucumber, or comparable automation frameworks.
- Strong coding skills in C# and Python, with expertise in writing Gherkin specifications.
- Skilled in keyword-driven automation, UI/adapter-based testing, and the transformation of manual test cases into automated suites.
- Hands-on experience managing pipelines within Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and VTP, utilizing Git for version control.
- Comprehensive understanding of system-level testing, including regression, performance, and reliability verification.
- An Agile professional dedicated to data-driven reporting and leveraging KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
- Committed to high-quality software standards through Git-based workflows, rigorous peer code reviews, and the development of reusable architectures.
- Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to align with stakeholders and teams across international sites (Best, Bangalore, Suzhou).

Arbeidsvoorwaarden
Primary employment conditions:A good salary as per market standards.
- 13th month salary
