Are you an e-commerce expert who sees the "big picture"? We are looking for a Merchandising Manager who understands that a great digital shop is built on both sales performance and brand love.
In this dual-focus role, you won't just be moving products; you will be the architect of the consumer journey on our brand website. You will balance marketing storytelling with commercial data to ensure that when a customer visits us, they don't just see a product-they find a solution that improves their health and well-being.
Your Impact & Responsibilities
1. Elevate the Consumer Experience (Marketing Focus)
- Tell a Story: Drive and organize digital pages so they effectively showcase best sellers and key trends.
- Build Loyalty: Partner closely with SEO and CRM teams to ensure our brand is the first choice for consumers throughout their entire journey.
- Optimize the Journey: Analyse how consumers move through our site to improve engagement, conversion, and average basket value.
- Brief and Coordinate Content: Work with European Marketing and digital teams to ensure your categories are represented beautifully across all digital touchpoints.
2. Drive Commercial Growth (Sales Focus)
- Manage the "Digital Shelf": Take full responsibility for the performance of specific Personal Health categories within the European D2C team.
- Inventory & Planning: Collaborate with merchandising planning to ensure we have the right products in stock at the right time.
- Campaign Execution: Brief and execute digital campaigns, using data to make smart recommendations for future growth.
- Promotional Strategy: Identify and launch promotional activities that drive sales while protecting our profit margins.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure all product details-from pricing and categorization to upsell opportunities-are accurate and optimized for conversion.
3. Deliver cross-category impact
- Lead project(s)/assignment(s) that drive operational excellence and/or process improvement across different categories and markets - to be agreed based on capabilities/skills set
Functie-eisen
- You have a Bachelors degree with at least 3 years of related experience (or a Masters degree with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience) in sales or marketing. Digital/E-commerce experience required.
- You are comfortable with e-commerce metrics and use data to solve complex problems.
- You enjoy working in a multi-functional, diverse team and can communicate effectively with stakeholders across the business. Building relationships is key.
- You look proactive for solutions, have a "continuous improvement" mindset and respond quickly to changes
- You have a basic understanding of LEAN principles (Certified LEAN Basic).

- Hours: 40 per week
- Salary: € 4.721 - € 5.508 per month (40 hours per week)
- Location: Amsterdam (Hybrid set-up: 3x week at the office (Mon, Tue, Thu)
