The Impact You’ll Make As an EMC Test Engineer, you are the bridge between innovation and compliance. You’ll work in a high-tech, collaborative environment, interpreting complex international standards to ensure our systems are resilient, reliable, and ready for the global market.
Responsibilities :-
- Test Strategy & Execution: Interpret complex specifications to plan and perform comprehensive EMC tests in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- System Design & Validation: Create and build international-standard compliant test set-ups, performing daily verification measurements to ensure peak performance.
- Analytical Decision Making: Analyze and interpret intricate EMC phenomena, balancing observations against standards to make critical pass/fail compliance decisions.
- Precise Documentation: Generate unambiguous, detailed technical observations and compile formal test reports required for global product certification.
- Equipment Mastery: Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced measurement equipment and software, ensuring the integrity of all assembly and system testing.
- Quality Oversight: Proactively identify non-conforming work and manage a strict calibration regime to uphold the laboratory’s ISO 17025 accreditation.

- Global Safety Impact: Ensure Philips’ medical devices meet the latest international EMC standards, directly safeguarding patients and healthcare workers worldwide.
- Independent Collaboration: Drive excellence within our specialized QLAB, working closely with internal customers and certifying agencies to validate a diverse portfolio of life-saving technology.
- End-to-End Certification: Take ownership of hardware testing, from executing prescribed procedures to analyzing results and compiling the critical reports required for product certification.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Set up, maintain, and resolve complex issues within our test and measurement systems—including both hardware and software—across assemblies and final products.
- Operational Integrity: Uphold the laboratory’s elite status by managing a strict calibration regime and ensuring every measurement is performed with uncompromising accuracy.
