As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will support, optimize, and maintain production processes within the Manufacturing Department at Factory Best. This role, based in the MR Factory, focuses on implementing projects and sustaining ongoing operations.
Core Activities:
- Develop and maintain work instructions, monitor and manage devices and tooling, train employees, and implement production processes.
- Drive structural improvements by initiating amendments such as Problem Reports (PR) and 8D forms (problem-solving methodology).
- Lead escalations related to production issues or complaints, collaborating with development teams and other stakeholders as needed.
- Ensure minimal production disturbances and maximize yield through close cooperation with team leads, troubleshooters, and development.
- Prepare and introduce product changes via Life Cycle Management and Modify Launched Design processes.
- Act as a subject matter expert during audits.
- Support New Product Introductions (NPI).
- Execute process validation activities.
Additional Activities:
- Conduct root cause analysis for Defect On Arrival (DEFOA) and Missing On Arrival (MOA) issues, and implement structural solutions.
- Provide input to Product Industrialization Engineers to improve workflows; post-release, take ownership of continuous improvements.
- Analyze product and process performance data using Six Sigma and Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies.
- Contribute to and maintain NPI project planning.
- Prepare and execute trial/prototype production activities within NPI processes.
- Define and lead improvement projects for the assigned unit to enhance efficiency, product quality, and testing (Green Belt level).

Minimum required Experience:
- Minimum required Education: Bachelor's / Master's Degree in BioMedical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Sciences, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
- Preferable Experience with SAP (MES) and Windchill
- 2 years of experience within Manufacturing or Engineering within high tech industry.
- Basic experience with OT (Operational Technology) and IT (Information Technology).
- Comprehension skills and ability to analyze and summarize.
- Experience with quality management and quality systems. Preferably experience in the medical industry (ISO 9001, 13485, FDA requirements, audits, FMEA, 8D, SPC, etc.).
