Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for creating and maintaining essential technical documentation for our advanced Radar and Command & Control Systems (Operator, Maintenance, and System Manuals).
- Content Development: Research, collect, and validate technical data from SMEs and system specifications.
- Writing & Editing: Produce clear, accurate, and consistent technical English for end-users.
- Project Leadership: Lead documentation projects from planning to delivery.
- Standards: Work with structured documentation (XML) and a Content Management System (CSDB/CMS).
Competenties
Who We Need
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in an Electrical domain.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Technical Author or similar role.
- Technical Expertise: Strong electrical background or close affinity with complex technology.
- Language: Excellent written and verbal English is mandatory.
- Highly Desirable: Experience with S1000D Data Modules and/or Simplified Technical English (STE).
- Soft Skills: Structured, analytical, stress-resistant, proactive, and a strong team player.
Arbeidsvoorwaarden
Location & Flexibility
- Based in the Eastern part of The Netherlands .
- Requires on-site presence (3 days/week initially, moving to 2 days/week).
