Are you a seasoned Project Manager ready to take on a pivotal role in the success of a critical Engineering & Validation Management (EVM) portfolio? This role is ideal for a self-starter with a strong background in managing technical capital expenditure (Capex) projects, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a passion for continuous operational efficiency.
As the Project Manager for the EVM Portfolio, you will be Accountable for the end-to-end success of your assigned projects, ensuring delivery on-time, within budget, and to the required quality.
- Own the successful delivery of assigned technical projects (e.g., HVAC EOL, lab/clean room refurbishments) ensuring they are on-time, within budget, and meet quality requirements.
- Approve critical project documentation (Project Plans, URS, risk assessments, cost plans).
- Manage internal stakeholders and sponsors as the main point of contact for your projects.
- Implement and uphold the RACI process as the Project Manager.
- Manage the onboarding of external contractor project leads.
- Maintain and update portfolio tools with accurate data.
- Provide timely budget, resource, and timeline data to the Portfolio Manager.
- Contribute to the annual Capex budget setup and control spending throughout the year.
- Set and align Capex project priorities across involved departments.
- Drive continuous improvement for the project management system and processes.
- Provide project management training and guidance to the EVM team, contractors, and internal customers.
- Support project leads when necessary.
Functie-eisen
- Generally requires 8-10 years of work experience in a project management role, preferably within a highly regulated environment (e.g., pharmaceutical, biotech, or similar industrial setting).
- Proven experience managing complex, technical Capex projects, especially involving technical infrastructure, EOL systems, or facility upgrades (e.g., labs, clean rooms).
- English fluency is a must. Dutch language proficiency is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project scope, budget, schedule, and quality; strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to lead, influence, and manage both internal teams and external contractors.
