As an experienced product owner you will be part of our Basecone product team and will lead one agile development team. Your team consist of frontend & backend engineers and dedicated QAs, who are based in Portugal and India, and you will be supported by our UX and Operations chapters. The team currently has a focus on authentication, document services and onboarding flows but teams increasingly work across multiple product domains. The Product Owner role is an important role at Wolters Kluwer and you will have accountability and decision making responsibility how products are developed. You will be in the driving seat together with the Product Manager, and act as the voice of the customer and other stakeholders towards your team. You are responsible for defining and prioritizing the product backlog of your team so that we effectively built our solutions for our customers while maintaining technical integrity. Moreover, you incorporate customer and stakeholder feedback continuously, ensuring top-notch software quality. You ensure alignment across teams, provide demo’s to our internal stakeholders and customers, support product management with the go-to-market of new functionality and inspire your colleagues with your product development & innovation know-how.

Self-starter and result-oriented
You have a Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant area
A proven track record as product owner with experience in a B2B environment and SaaS product development
Experience with (SAFe) Agile frameworks & methodologies and Jira
Excellent in English speaking an writing (Dutch is a plus)
Experience in accounting software or related fields is considered to be a plus
