FrieslandCampina is seeking an experienced and proactive Quality Design Release Specialist to join our team in the Netherlands. In this critical role, you will be the quality Single Point of Contact (SPoC) for cross-functional project teams, driving the quality agenda from the earliest concept phase through to successful product launch and ongoing life cycle management.

You will be instrumental in ensuring our new and existing products meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance, delivering superior products to our consumers and customers.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the Quality Agenda: Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPoC) for all quality-related matters within New Product Development (NPD) and Life Cycle Management (LCM) projects.
Quality Design Release: Drive and manage the Quality Design Release process, ensuring all products transition smoothly and compliantly from concept to production.
Project Leadership: Take the lead in project teams, proactively driving quality-related decisions, timelines, and deliverables.
Assess and Approve: Conduct thorough quality assessments and reviews of component and product designs to ensure compliance with quality requirements, standards, and specifications.
Complex Problem Solving: Utilize your deep Quality expertise to address challenging, ambiguous scenarios ("grey areas") where standards are not explicitly clear, making sound, risk-based decisions to maintain product integrity and safety.
Market Maintenance: Ensure ongoing compliance and quality maintenance for products already in the market (Life Cycle Management).
Collaborate with R&D, Operations, Procurement, and Regulatory teams to embed a "Right First Time" quality mindset.

A strong background in Quality Design Release or a similar role focused on bringing products from the concept phase to production and maintaining them in the market (NPD & LCM).
Demonstrable experience working effectively within cross-functional project teams, specifically driving the quality segment of the project.
Proven ability to assess designs, components, and parts against stringent quality requirements.
