Your main responsibilities will include:
• Analyzing customer requests for quotations to identify the optimal technical solutions, based on the capabilities of our various platforms, and preparing both technical and commercial proposals that best align with customer requirements. This role supports the commercial activities of the Inspection Department.
• Utilizing the CRM system (Salesforce) to generate technical and commercial quotes, update our service catalog, manage interactions with existing and potential clients, track your sales pipeline, and monitor the progress of sales-related objectives (e.g., order intake targets).
• Engaging in additional after sales-related activities, such as attending customer meetings to provide technical expertise, and occasionally representing the company at trade exhibitions to enhance market visibility and generate leads.
As a Proposal Engineer and member of the Global Sales & Marketing Department, you will be responsible for preparing quotations and processing orders, maintaining communication with customers, and collaborating closely with both the Operations Department and the Global Sales Department and be the primary point of contact for customers. Among all your other talents, your key knowledge and experience is:
• A degree in Electrical Engineering
• You have excellent communication skills in English (written and verbally), Dutch is a plus.
• Experience or studies in Transformers equipment is desirable.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden
We offer a permanent position in a dynamic and international environment.
The salary indication for this role is €4,500 gross per month.
Naturally, the role is compensated appropriately, including excellent secondary benefits such as a 38 hour workweek (or 32) and 30 days of annual leave with the option to buy or sell additional days. Also the flexibility to work from home on a 50/50 basis.
Furthermore, Kema's pension contribution is 100%.
The position is based in Arnhem.
