Category Management

  • Develop and execute category strategies and roadmaps for IT (software, SaaS, and IT services) in alignment with business stakeholders.
  • Structure sourcing approaches to deliver sustainable cost savings and maximize value.
  • Stay connected with market trends, innovations, and best practices via suppliers, conferences, and benchmarks.
  • Build and share procurement toolkits and methodologies across business units.

Sourcing & Supplier Management

  • Conduct RFI/RFQ processes and benchmark suppliers regularly.
  • Drive spend consolidation and increase negotiation power with IT & Data stakeholders.
  • Ensure optimal vendor selection based on cost, quality, and security.
  • Collaborate closely with Legal to manage support and managed services contracts, and ensure application of negotiated terms.
  • Actively support ongoing and upcoming IT sourcing projects.

Business & Supplier Relationship Management

  • Build strong internal relationships with IT & Data teams and procurement counterparts.
  • Proactively recommend fit-for-purpose sourcing strategies.
  • Monitor and improve supplier performance using KPIs and scorecards.
  • Lead supplier innovation efforts and manage escalations or disputes as needed.

Procurement Financials

  • Lead cost optimization programs across all relevant sourcing categories.
  • Track and monitor savings in collaboration with Finance.
  • Deliver on cash flow improvement targets.
  • Host quarterly reviews with finance and business stakeholders.

Functie-eisen

  • 7–10 years of relevant experience in procurement, specifically within IT category management (software/SaaS/IT services).
  • Hands-on experience in sourcing, vendor selection, and contract negotiation – especially for IT software and services.
  • Able to start immediately, with minimal onboarding required.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills in international environments.
  • Fluent in English (French is a plus, Dutch not required).
  • Experience with any specific software tools is not essential, but understanding the IT sourcing landscape is key.
  • Comfortable taking over ongoing projects and navigating ambiguity.
