For our client, we are seeking a driven Global Insights Analyst for a temporary assignment of at least 3 to 6 months. You'll work 2-3 days a week from the office in Gorinchem.
As a Global Insights Analyst, you will be the expert in marketing insights and market research. You'll be responsible for gathering and analyzing industry data, consumer trends, and market trends. Your crucial task will be to disseminate these findings and opportunities throughout the organization in a clear and accessible manner, ensuring they are directly applicable for sales, marketing, technical research, industry leadership, and management.
- You'll collaborate closely with insights managers, business development, product managers, R&D, and sales teams in each region. You'll ensure research findings are not only understood but also implemented, enabling key business decisions.
- You'll enhance the interest of customers, prospective clients, and market influencers by coordinating with marketing communications, allowing primary and secondary market research to be effectively utilized in external marketing materials.
- You'll develop and maintain relationships with external research agencies and freelancers.
- You'll work with internal clients to define the scope of initiatives, including a formal definition of research objectives, essential information needs, and recommended methodologies.
- You'll share and activate syndicated reports: you'll identify reporting options that create clear linkages in relevant ways to broaden the use of syndicated data.
- You'll be a key advocate for market/customer needs based on market intelligence/data/trends.
- You'll perform other duties as required by business needs.
Functie-eisen
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, a scientifically/technically relevant field, or a related discipline.
- You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in market research, preferably within the food and/or biochemical industry. B2B experience is a plus.
- You are proficient in MS Office programs, particularly PowerPoint and Word, with high proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and SharePoint.
- You are fluent in a wide range of secondary data sources (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, Euromonitor, Innova, Mintel, Label Insights, etc.). Experience with Nielsen and Innova is strongly preferred.
- You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You are able to work and collaborate within a cross-functional team.
- You are a creative, independent thinker and a self-starter.
- You have exceptional organizational skills and the flexibility to manage multiple initiatives and changing priorities/needs.
- You can communicate with and influence all levels of a global organization, including senior executives.
- You have proven decision-making skills and possess strong collaboration and interpersonal skills; you are an effective coach and team player.
