PM will be responsible to plan, manage, commission, site management and deliver an entire project from transfer through to Provisional Acceptance Certificate (PAC) ensuring that additional business opportunities are pursued and to deliver high levels of Customer satisfaction and maximum margin/value with clear focus on safety.

Duration of the job is planned for two years with an immidiate start after agreement.

Main PM tasks include

Execute projects keeping high standards in Safety, efficiency, on time delivery and financial goals as per GE Vernova rules;
Contribute to project operational performance by providing accurate forecasts in finance Key Performance Indicators : Sales, Cash & Margin on a quarterly or monthly base;
Business scope = Grid Solutions projects in Meeden (Netherlands) and area Bruxels (Belgium);
Project organization from ITO (sales phase) until PAC. This contains set up of project management plans, communications plans, quality plans and so on.;
Leading of project team (engineers, site workers, possible third party suppliers.

Functie-eisen

Bachelor’s Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent;
Strong experience in project-, site management and commissioning in Energy Industry ( preferably in Distribution and HV/MV-Transmission );
Knowledge of Electricity Transmission, Distribution & Industrial markets with financial notions is a plus;
Autonomy & Rigor;
Fully fluent in Dutch in word / writing (level C2);
Fully fluent English in word / writing;
Good business acumen, execution driven, process appliance, PM metrics, teamwork;

Competenties

Major Responsibilities

Project execution (from tender to warranty end, including delivery & commissioning activities);
Be the prime customer contact for the execution of the contract/project;
Execute Projects in collaboration with EHS, engineering department, contract admin, contract management, finance, procurement & other support functions;
Be accountable for On Time Delivery, Sales and cash-in realization (& accurate forecasting), project Operating Working Capital, Margins improvement & Customer satisfaction;
Follow project management best practices (as per Project Management Handbook and specific Product line instructions), including specific focus on transfer review, project gates reviews and project close-out;
Monthly update on actions plan progress & Sales/cash forecasts;
Preparation and presentation of project reviews;
Contribute to EHS plan, Operation department development & Unit continuous improvement;
Lead EHS/Safety actions and performance: be fully compliant with GEV rules and processes, ensure project teams (own and subcontracted) are properly trained and holders of required qualifications when required. Lead to EHS monitoring actions;
Follow GEV compliance Policies (‘The Spirit and The Letter’) and promote open reporting;
Support Commercial team by return of experience, optimizing project costs & deliveries.
