We are currently looking for a project manager for the lifecycle projects (UPS systems) at Global Switch Amsterdam!

In this role, it involves assisting project teams with daily tasks such as creating schedules, timelines, and budgets, developing work procedures for contractors (e.g. MOPs, PTWs), coordinating submittals, and managing change documentation. It includes supporting the development of scopes of work for design, construction, and commissioning, as well as participating in procurement and cost estimation.

The role requires liaising with contractors and facility management throughout all project phases and handling administrative tasks like collecting as-built documents, reports, and snag lists. It also involves incorporating redline changes using AutoCAD, maintaining organized project files and drawing revisions, and contributing to design and installation discussions in meetings.

Additionally, the role supports collaboration with stakeholders, design, and construction teams to provide input to the Global Switch Project Manager, helps develop scopes of work, and assists in tracking project costs against the overall budget.

Competenties

Proven experience in engineering or construction projects and located in the Netherlands
Knowledge or experience in at least one relevant engineering discipline: electrical, mechanical and automation (e.g. SCADA, industrial communication protocols, DCS, building management systems)
Experience or understanding of data centre environments (preferred)
Familiarity with CAD or modelling software (e.g. AutoCAD, BIM)
