As a Chemical Analyst, you’ll play a key role in performing chemical analyses and quality control to ensure the accuracy and integrity of test results. Working in a laboratory setting, you’ll support activities in research, production, and regulatory compliance.

Your tasks may include:

  • Performing qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
  • Operating and maintaining laboratory instruments such as HPLC, GC, ICP-MS, and spectrophotometers.
  • Developing and validating analytical methods to ensure precision and compliance with industry standards.
  • Ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality control guidelines (e.g., ISO, GMP, GLP).
  • Documenting and interpreting test results, preparing reports, and presenting findings to relevant stakeholders.

Besides that your task can be:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and quality assurance.
  • Identifying and troubleshooting laboratory issues and implementing corrective actions.
  • Keeping up to date with new scientific advancements and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • MBO 4, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Analytical Chemistry, or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in chemical analysis techniques and familiarity with analytical instrumentation.
  • Understanding of laboratory safety procedures, quality control standards, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Previous experience in a laboratory environment is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Dutch is an advantage

Locations: South of the Netherlands and or Limburg (the Netherlands)

We have an open position for 1 year with possibility of extension and/or a permanent contract at the company. This concerns a secondment contract. Full-time (40h) is strongly preferred, working 32 or 36 hours per week can be discussed. We will offer a competitive benefit package in line with your seniority and the seniority of the position.
