CRE QEHS is organized into four core programs:

Compliance
Energy
Circularity & Water
Quality & EHS

Each of these programs defines and manages cross-sector projects to achieve the objectives outlined in ASML’s CRE QEHS roadmap. Additionally, the team supports the ASML Prioritized Initiative (API) on Waste Analysis and Insights.

To support both the program managers and the API team, we are looking for a Project Management Officer (PMO). In this role, you will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and ensuring adherence to effective processes and ways of working within the CRE QEHS and API teams.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and maintain a structured approach to project portfolio management for the CRE QEHS team, enabling the coordination and execution of cross-sector projects aligned with the CRE QEHS strategy.
Maintain the project management structure for the API Waste Analysis and Insights program.
Drive and follow up with program managers and local sustainability coordinators to ensure timely updates of portfolios and masterplans.
Facilitate regular alignment meetings with program managers and sector representatives to monitor progress, enable reporting, and escalate issues where needed.
Prepare and support (API) project progress review sessions, KPI alignment meetings, and workshops to foster stakeholder alignment. This includes developing and maintaining effective templates and tools.
Support the bi-monthly portfolio steering committee reporting to senior management.
Structure and safeguard relevant API key deliverable (KD) documents.
Continuously improve project execution effectiveness and efficiency by simplifying processes, enhancing communication, and identifying synergies with other APIs.
Develop and implement structured communication channels, templates, and strategic communication materials to support stakeholder engagement.

Competenties

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
3–6 years of work experience in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Project Management Officer (PMO) or Project Manager within a program management context.
Background and knowledge in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS).
Proven experience in designing and/or implementing new processes, and managing change and improvement projects in a complex stakeholder landscape.
Experience in a (high-)tech environment is an advantage.
Affinity with ESG and Sustainability topics is a plus.

Comfortable speaking up in meetings, creating clarity, and ensuring adherence to agreed processes.
Skilled networker who effectively aligns multiple stakeholders; able to influence without formal authority and equipped with excellent communication skills and strong political awareness.
Proficient in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and other relevant project and portfolio management tools.
