Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive vehicle-level NVH analyses, including modal analysis, frequency response, and acoustic sensitivity studies.
- Execute NVH testing in accordance with relevant norms, regulations, and HY testing protocols.
- Lead the design process using NVH design principles, ensuring the correct use of isolators and damping components for achieving a "first-time-right" vehicle build.
- Develop engineering concepts for assemblies and sub-assemblies with a focus on proper integration into the truck frame.
- Translate vehicle/system-level requirements into component- or subsystem-level specifications.
- Analyze and interpret CAE/simulation results to provide actionable feedback for design optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Powertrain, Hydraulics, Structure/Frame, Cab & Truck Integration) to incorporate NVH insights into the overall product development cycle.
Functie-eisen
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferably with a specialization in NVH or Vehicle Dynamics.
- 5–10 years of engineering experience in the automotive or commercial vehicle sector.
- Strong knowledge and practical skills in Vehicle Dynamics and NVH analysis.
- Working knowledge of automotive technologies, including design, manufacturing, and testing practices.
- Familiarity with NVH testing equipment and related procedures.
