The Site Manager has the overall operational responsibility for Environment, Health and Safety on site and the directive decision making authority for all daily service operations. Provide visible, strong and active EHS leadership within the Site and Project. Responsible to ensure the issuance of EHS standards, regulations and procedures to ensure a #Homesafe environment and to perform within your leading function as a role model.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will have a technical background, adaptability to change, and the ability to work well under pressure. As a line manager, you’ll oversee up to 15 technicians, guiding their development through progress talks and fostering their growth while also leading daily operations for larger teams of up to 80 people. Your responsibilities will include ensuring all on-site activities align with company and project targets in safety, schedule, cost, and quality. You’ll actively manage risks and opportunities, implementing corrective actions when needed and maintaining clear communication for reporting and escalation.

On-site customer management will be a key part of your role, serving as the primary representative for SGRE and the service project. You’ll also provide functional leadership to the site team, including planners, technicians, and stock keepers. Additionally, you’ll contribute to improving service KPI's and reporting to drive operational excellence.

Competenties

To make a difference, you’ll need a passion for renewable energy and a strong sense of responsibility to drive change. We’re looking for candidates with 5 year's experience in coordinating or managing service operations, particularly corrective and preventive maintenance for offshore wind turbines. Strong communication and people management skills are essential, along with a proactive approach to environment, quality, safety, and operational matters. Familiarity with health and safety legislation is required, as well as a valid driving license (category B). Proficiency in IT, communication, presentation, and organizational skills, along with awareness of company procedures, s important. Experience with ERP systems like SAP and a solid grasp of Office 365 and other Microsoft applications are also key. Fluency in English is necessary, and Dutch language skills are a plus.
