What will you be doing?
As a Vehicle Layout Engineer at DAF Trucks, you'll be leading packaging teams and DMU sessions, defining vehicle layout concepts, and working with various stakeholders to create optimal solutions.
- Lead packaging teams in developing new vehicle layout concepts.
- Prepare and lead DMU sessions to review 3D vehicle representations.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, After Sales, and Product Planning.
- Conduct preliminary studies and feasibility investigations.
- Translate customer needs into concrete technical solutions.
Functie-eisen
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Vehicle Layout Engineer. You'll be a team player with excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude. This Vehicle Layout Engineer position needs someone with a strong work ethic.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
- Experience with CAD systems (Siemens NX preferred)
- Experience in the automotive sector or product development
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
