We are looking for a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to become a key member of our IPL Software Team. In this role, you will contribute directly to the evolution of our IPL product portfolio—crucial for ensuring business continuity, increasing flexibility, and reducing time-to-market in line with regulatory standards (e.g., Dekra, FDA).
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Write reliable, high-quality, and well-documented C++ code for low-level embedded systems.
- Design and execute comprehensive unit and component tests to validate software functionality.
- Contribute to effort estimation and planning for development tasks and project timelines.
- Participate actively in design walkthroughs and peer code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
- Prepare clear and thorough documentation supporting design, implementation, and verification activities.
- Identify opportunities to refine software development processes and boost efficiency.
- Work cross-functionally with multidisciplinary teams and international suppliers to ensure alignment and success.
Functie-eisen
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering or related field.
- Multiple years of experience developing embedded software in C/C++, ideally for high-volume consumer products.
- Strong knowledge of embedded systems and real-time development.
- Familiarity with modern development practices and tools (Agile/SAFe, Git/GitHub).
- Experience working within regulated environments is a strong plus.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on quality and innovation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Technically assertive and comfortable presenting and defending your ideas.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden
Primary employment conditions
- A good salary as per industry standards (classification depending on education and work experience);
- 13th month salary (is paid out periodically pro rata)
