Costing and Sourcing Analyst (for Nike)

Are you an analytical talent with a passion for the apparel supply chain? As a Costing and Sourcing Analyst, you will play a crucial role in realizing Nike's seasonal sourcing strategy. You will bridge the gap between product design and profitability.

You have strong communication skills and are a true team player. You think in scenarios and aren't intimidated by complex puzzles.

• Analytical skills: You can translate data into concrete actions and solutions.
• Collaboration: You interface effortlessly with teams such as Planning, Materials, and Product Creation.
• Experience: Experience in the apparel industry (garment), manufacturing, or supply chain is a significant plus.

In this role, you are the linchpin of the product creation process. You ensure that Nike's products are not only world-class but also meet Nike's established financial goals.

• Cost planning: Manage the cost planning process in close collaboration with the Product Creation teams.
• Strategic sourcing: Coordinate between design and procurement to find the best balance between product costs and profit margins.
• Problem solving: Are quotes exceeding the budget? You proactively advise on alternative materials or construction methods to reduce costs without compromising on quality.
• Optimization: Allocate production across different suppliers (multi-sourcing) to maximize trade benefits and tariffs.
• Data analysis: Generate reports to ensure data consistency and provide the organization with sharp planning insights.

You will be based at Nike's inspiring European Headquarters (EHQ) in Hilversum, a dynamic campus that reflects the values of the brand. Nike offers a hybrid working model (3 days in the office, 2 days from home).
