Are you a go-getter who enjoys working both indoors and outdoors with impressive machinery? Do you have experience operating forklifts and do you want to work for a growing international player in Dordrecht? This is a role where the functions of production worker and logistics worker are combined.

You are physically fit for this logistics/production worker role. You work in a structured manner and have a sharp eye for safety. You enjoy working independently but are also a true team player who jumps in where needed. You have a good command of English, as all internal communication is primarily in English.

• You have demonstrable experience in machine logistics.
• You hold certificates for (or have experience with) forklifts, aerial work platforms, and telehandlers.
• You speak English well (this is the leading language); Dutch is a major plus.
• You are proficient with tablets and systems (for inventory registration).
• Physically fit.

As a Machine Handler, you are the indispensable link in the logistical process. You start the day by unloading containers and immediately checking the incoming machines for quality and damage. Next, you prepare the machines for shipment by mounting parts such as tires and ladders, after which you move them to the correct location using a forklift or telehandler and process them administratively in SAP. Additionally, you ensure the daily charging of electric machines and maintain a clean and safe working environment according to the 5S method. You work closely with your colleagues from the technical department and the warehouse to keep the flow optimal.

• Loading and unloading: Unloading containers and inspecting machines for damage.
• Machine preparation: Mounting parts such as tires, ladders, and railings.
• Inventory management: Moving machines to the right spot in the warehouse or yard and scanning them into SAP.
• Quality control: Charging electric machines and keeping a daily record of this.
• Safety & Order: Working according to 5S principles to ensure a tidy, safe workplace.

You will be working for an international organization. Approximately 50 employees work at this location, representing 17 different nationalities. For this reason, the primary language is English. The company supplies equipment to all of Europe.
