Eurail offers a flexible schedule between 16 and 40 hours. We use a hybrid work model, so you can work from home or at our modern office next to Utrecht station. Join us as a customer service agent and help our guests explore the best of Europe.

As a customer service agent at Eurail, you will consistently go the extra mile to support international travelers by combining genuine empathy with high professional precision. Are you a highly skilled communicator who can effortlessly read between the lines to truly understand, respect, and anticipate the diverse needs of every traveler? If you excel at transforming complex or confusing questions into clear, helpful solutions that put people at ease, then we are definitely looking for you to join our growing team.

By stepping into this vital role of customer service agent, you will help navigate every single journey with a high level of care and personal attention. You also:

  • Have excellent writing and speaking skills in English;
  • Are accurate, with a keen eye for detail;
  • Have a valid work permit in the Netherlands, a BSN, an IBAN, and you are currently residing in the Netherlands;
  • Are available to start with the training on the 23th of February;
  • Have no holiday plans in the months: June, July and August.

As a customer service agent at Eurail, you answer customer questions through email and live chat. You play a key part in making sure every traveler has a smooth and enjoyable trip.

It is important that you are a strong writer and can work with different chat apps and digital tools. Your fast and accurate typing skills help you answer questions quickly and efficiently.

To prepare you for the role, you will follow a 32-hour training program starting February 23rd. This training takes four weeks. You must be available during office hours to learn all about the systems and the world of European rail travel as a customer service agent.

You’ll join a diverse team of 50 international colleagues speaking 10+ languages. We offer a hybrid model: work from home half the time or at our modern Utrecht office. To support your work-life balance, schedules are set four weeks in advance. We are seeking a customer service agent comfortable with occasional weekend shifts to provide world-class, 24/7 support.

  • You're available to work flexible shifts Monday through Sunday;
  • We guarantee 16 hours per week, but during the high season you can work a lot more;
  • You're available to work at least 16 hours during weekend days per month;
  • We offer you a temporary job until the end of August;
  • We also cover your public transportation travel expenses and offer a nice bonus for working in the evenings.
