As a customer service agent at Eurail, you’ll go the extra mile to assist customers with empathy and precision. Are you someone who can read between the lines and truly understand a traveler's needs? Than we are looking for you.

You also:

  • Have excellent writing and speaking skills in English;
  • Are accurate, with a keen eye for detail;
  • Have a valid work permit in the Netherlands, a BSN, an IBAN, and you are currently residing in the Netherlands;
  • Are available to start with the training on the 23th of February;
  • Have no holiday plans in the months: June, July and August.

As a customer service agent at Eurail, you will respond to customer inquiries via email and provide real-time support via live chat. With this you ensure every traveler’s journey runs smoothly. So, it is in important that you have excellent writing skills and you are able to switch and work with different chat applications. With your great typing skills you are able to answer the traveler's questions quickly and efficiently.

To set you up for success, you will participate in a 32-hour training program starting on February 23rd. This training will take a total of 4 weeks. You must be available during office hours for this period to master the world of European rail travel.

Eurail is the place to go if you want to explore Eurail by train. According to Eurail: travelling isn't just about transport, it is about the experience. Who wouldn't want to be a part of that? You will join the team of about 50 agents and help deliver the best customer service. Your team is very international as well! Together you will speak over 10 different languages and come from more than 20 different countries.

Where will you work? You can work from home at least half of the time, but you will also meet your team at the brand new office in Utrecht. To ensure a good work-life balance, your schedule is created four weeks in advance based on your availability. Eurail is looking for a customer service agent who is happy to work occasional weekends to help deliver world-class support seven days a week.

  • You're available to work flexible shifts Monday through Sunday;
  • We guarantee 16 hours per week, but during the high season you can work a lot more;
  • You're available to work at least 16 hours during weekend days per month;
  • We offer you a temporary job until the end of August;
  • We also cover your public transportation travel expenses and offer a nice bonus for working in the evenings.
