To be eligible as a warehouse employee, it is important that you meet the following requirements:

• You are at least 18 and speak Dutch or English;
• You have your own transportation;
• You live near Poeldijk;
• You can work from 00:00 till 05:00;
• You are available at least 2 days a week.

As a warehouse employee, you're a vital link in Bidfood's logistics process. You'll be responsible for unloading trucks that arrive in the evening and night, containing both products and packaging. You'll also inspect the carts assembled during the day: checking labels and products for each customer, modifying orders as needed, and placing everything in the correct order for the loading docks. This physically challenging work takes place in a refrigerated environment (between 2 and 4 degrees Celsius). Because you'll be working in this environment constantly, it's important to dress warmly. If you occasionally need to work in the freezer (-18 degrees Celsius), we'll provide appropriate clothing. Your workday starts late in the evening and typically ends around 4:00 AM, with the possibility of extending to 5:00 AM during peak hours. You'll receive the applicable surcharges for these nighttime hours and working in the cold.

• Check picked orders;
• Place them on the correct carts for each order;
• Prepare carts for the correct docks;

• Keep the work environment tidy.

Bidfood is a leading wholesaler in the food service industry. The company supplies fresh produce, among other products. Bidfood currently has 16 locations across the Netherlands and a team of 1,700 employees. They serve no fewer than 25,000 diverse customers in the Netherlands.

Regular shift allowance:
Between 00:00 and 04:00, 150% allowance.

Shift allowance for working in the cold:
Between 0 and 7 degrees Celsius €0.53 gross per hour worked.
