Mail sorter, afternoon shift

Hi! Do you enjoy being physically active in the afternoon and want to work in an energetic team? At PostNL in Nieuwegein, you will start as a part-time mail sorter. You will contribute to processing letters and parcels for everyone in the Netherlands and work in a fun and close-knit crew. Can you already see yourself rolling up your sleeves? To ensure that the mail sorting runs smoothly, it is important that you, as a mail sorter, meet the following requirements:

• You are 18 years or older.
• You are willing to work in Nieuwegein.
• You speak the English or Dutch language.
• You are available for a minimum of 2 afternoons per week.
• You can work from 13:00/14:00 to 19:00/20:00.

At PostNL Nieuwegein, you are part of a team that ensures every day that all letters and parcels arrive on time and at the correct location. As a mail sorter, you are not only responsible for the mechanical sorting of mail by postcode, but you also handle the mail that requires special attention. You are the brain behind the manual sorting work, which ensures that the entire process continues to run smoothly. Together with your colleagues, you are the crucial link in the mail delivery for the whole of the Netherlands.

• Keeping the mail sorting machine operational.
• Manually processing mail when problems occur.
• Feeding the machine with mail.
• Removing the processed mail.
• Keeping your workspace clean.
