Senior Supply Chain Specialist - Returns (Nike Stores)

Nike is looking for a Senior Supply Chain Specialist who will focus entirely on the returns process for the Nike Direct Stores (physical stores).

You combine operational knowledge with strong analytical skills to deliver on Nike's promise to customers (service, convenience, and sustainability) while simultaneously achieving Nike's financial goals. You are capable of simplifying complex information and communicating it clearly to leaders and stakeholders.

What you bring:

• Experience: Demonstrable (senior) experience within Supply Chain and/or Retail, with a clear consumer focus and a proven growth in responsibilities.
• Project Leadership: Strong experience in leading (medium) large, cross-functional projects from start to finish, with measurable results.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills. You can translate complex supply chain problems into clear insights and recommendations for senior management.
• Stakeholder Management: Proven experience in managing relationships. You easily build relationships with both internal teams and external partners and know how to influence people.
• Analytical Skills: You are strongly analytical and data-driven. You are an expert in KPI management, root cause analysis, and translating complex data into actionable insights (e.g., in graphs).
• Mindset: A proactive, problem-solving, and innovative attitude.
• System Knowledge: Advanced skills in MS Office (especially Excel) and experience with reporting tools (like Cognos, Tableau) and ERP systems (like SAP) is a strong plus.

You will work in a dynamic, cross-functional, and international (EMEA) environment. You are part of the MSC Stores team and will report to the Supply Chain Stores Manager. You will interact daily with a broad network of colleagues and partners, including Retail Operations, Planning, Finance, the stores themselves, carriers, and Nike's central logistics departments.

As a Senior Specialist, you will be the pivot in the E2E (end-to-end) returns process for Nike's stores. You ensure that returned products are made available again as quickly and easily as possible, which is crucial for both customer satisfaction and profitability. Your range of tasks is diverse:

• Performance Management: You are responsible for the performance of the returns process. You analyze KPIs, trace the root cause of problems (root cause analysis), and share your findings and recommendations with the Nike Direct Supply Chain teams.
• Process Improvement: You identify opportunities for improvement and build convincing 'business cases' (supported by data) to implement these improvements.
• Project Leadership: You will lead and participate in medium to large-scale projects to innovate and improve the supply chain.
• Forecasting & Planning: You will work closely with the Finance and Commercial teams to forecast return flows. You translate this information into clear signals for Nike's logistics planning and capacity.
• Stakeholder Management: You build and maintain strong relationships with Nike's external logistics service providers (carriers, etc.) to optimize processes together.
• Documentation: You will create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training documents.

You will be based at Nike's inspiring European Headquarters (EHQ) in Hilversum, a dynamic campus that reflects the values of the brand. Nike offers a hybrid working model (3 days in the office, 2 days from home).
