Nike is looking for a Lead Business Planner E-commerce to strengthen the Nike Direct Digital Commerce (NDDC) team. In this role, you are the strategic hub ensuring that our consumers can always find the Nike products they are looking for.

€32 - €50 based on experience

You are responsible for defining and managing the business plans for Nike's e-commerce channels. You ensure Nike's plans align with the Nike Direct strategy and market capacity.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, an excellent collaborator, and knows how to influence internal and external partners with data-driven, consumer-focused recommendations.

  • Planning Experience: You have solid experience in (merchandise) financial planning, preferably within a digital/e-commerce retail environment. You have a good foundational knowledge of finance, product planning, and supply chain.
  • Analytical Skills: You are an expert in data analysis and modeling (excellent Excel skills are a must). You use data and statistical forecasting to make better decisions.
  • Business Acumen: You are a critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills. You understand the key retail KPIs and what drives the business.
  • Consumer Focus: You understand consumer needs and market trends, and you can link your plans to them.
  • Influence & Communication: You are a strong communicator and can translate data into a compelling story (strategic thinking). You can advise and influence stakeholders at various levels.
  • Risk Management: You proactively identify risks and opportunities and present concrete options for solutions.

You will work in a highly dynamic and cross-functional environment. You will report to the Business Planning Director and work closely with your colleagues in Business Planning and Assortment Planning on a daily basis. Your key stakeholders are: Nike Direct Planning, Central (GEO) Business Planning, Finance, Membership, Fulfilled by Nike (FxN) & Marketplace Operations, NDDC Analytics.

Your main goal is to drive the planning strategy, develop robust seasonal demand forecasts, and optimize Nike's performance throughout the season. Specifically, this means you will:

  • Develop Business Plans: You define and manage the business plan for NDDC, aligned with market capacity and the Nike Direct strategy.
  • Collaborate & Align: You participate in central planning discussions (with the central Business Planning team, among others) to ensure a unified plan.
  • Influence Budgeting: You help align the budgeting, business planning, and forecasting processes.
  • Monitor Performance: You analyze business performance (sales, margin, turnover) and clearly communicate the results and any deviations to all stakeholders.
  • Think Strategically: You actively participate in the development and implementation of the multi-year strategy for NDDC.
  • Support Product Stories: You ensure the planning is aligned with the most important seasonal brand and product launches.
  • Optimize Inventory (Off-Price): You work with the broader Planning organization to manage 'CloseOut' (outlet) inventory and achieve financial targets.

You will be based at Nike's inspiring European Headquarters (EHQ) in Hilversum, a dynamic campus that reflects the values of the brand. Nike offers a hybrid working model (3 days in the office, 2 days from home).
