We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented intern to strengthen our team. If you meet the following requirements, we invite you to apply:
- Education & Availability: Bachelor's/Master's student in Data Science, Biomedical Engineering, Bioinformatics, or related fields, available for a minimum of 6 months and 40 hours per week (8:30-17:00).
- Skills & Experience: Strong analytical skills with basic familiarity with data analysis tools. Experience with Excel, Python, SQL, Power BI, and Databricks is a plus. Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Soft Skills: Able to work independently and as part of a global, cross-functional team, with strong communication skills, a result-driven approach, and an inquisitive mindset.
As a data analyst,you are responsible for thoroughly analyzing quality control data. This includes various tasks, such as:
- Analyzing existing QC data tables related to materials, reagents, personnel, and equipment across more than 20 different test methods and 4 locations.
- Constructing logical database relationship schemas that accurately reflect data interactions, despite differences in schemas across locations.
- Mapping tables with business-relevant descriptions to facilitate understanding and modeling.
- Applying advanced analytics techniques to investigate the influence of lab location, materials, reagents, equipment, and personnel on positive controls and test results.
- Publishing results and insights using JMP or Power BI tools, including setting up Power BI gateways for automatic dashboard refreshes.
