Then we are looking for you. As a Customer Service Agent at Eurail you will help customers make their European train journey go as smoothly as possible. You will specialize in handling different type of claims travels can make during or after their trip.
We offer you a flexible job with a minimum of 24 hours up to 40 hours a week. Most of the time you'll be working 40 hours. You can work Monday through Sunday between 7 AM and 7 PM. After you have finished the training, you can also work from home for 50% of your workweek. The rest of the hours you will work together with your (international) colleagues at the Eurail's office near Utrecht Central Station.

You, as a customer service agent in Eurail's Claim Handling team, you love helping customers and you always want to go the extra mile to give the best service possible. You have amazing English skills in both reading and writing. Also, you are a scrupulous person and you have the ability to read between the lines and understand a customer's troubles. You are a hard worker and you look forward to dedicatedly helping all travelers who've faced some sort of issue with or on their trip. You love working in a team but also work on your own tickets. You are flexible and looking for a temporary job. It is a big plus if you have experience in a similar customer service position.
- You have excellent writing and speaking skills in English;
- You are accurate, with a keen eye for detail;
- You have a good understanding of European geography;
- You have a EU passport or a work permit in the Netherlands, plus a BSN and IBAN and your are currently residing in the Netherlands;
- You are available to start with the training from the 28th of July on;
- You have no holiday plans in the months: August and September.
As a customer service agent in Eurail's Claim Handling team, you will be responsible for answering customers’ questions regarding their claims. So, it is in important that you have excellent writing skills and you are able to switch between and work with different computer systems. With your great typing skills you are able to handle the traveler's claims and questions quickly and efficiently. You'll be working to make sure all claims will be handled by the end of this summer period.
In your first week you will attend training sessions where you will learn everything you need to know about the different claims a customer can make and when and how to handle them. Your training will be in a group of approximately 5 people, so you'll feel right at home. The training starts the 28th of July and is mandatory.
Eurail is a very international company which offers train tickets to travel around Europe with. They provide customer service assistance in all kinds of fields. You will join our passionate team and help us deliver the best customer service for all Eurail's travelers.
At Eurail they work in shifts. Every 1 to 2 weeks Eurail asks for your availability. The schedules are based on your availability. Since Eurail provides services for their customers 7 days a week from 7 AM to 7 PM, we are looking for customer service agents who are very flexible to pick up different shift between these times.
You are available to:
- Work at weekends, at least 16 hours per month;
- Work a flexible schedule between 24 and 40 hours per week, but you'll mostly be working 40 hours;
- At least 4 hours per shift but most shift are 8 hours;
- Hybrid working schedule from home and the office in Utrecht;
- We offer you a temporary job until the 30st of September (maybe longer if needed);
- We also cover all travel expenses by public transport and 40% additional pay during inconvenient hours.
