We are looking for a experienced IT support generalist, who is eager to work with a fast growing international company, based in Swalmen. You work with the back up of a team of IT colleagues in the USA, but are also able to work independently.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Or equivalent in experience.
- Experience: Previous experience in an IT support role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network systems: Essential for identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Software Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and resolve software issues, including application errors, system crashes, and performance problems.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills: Crucial for effectively addressing and explaining solutions to users.
- Ability to lift and move computer equipment as needed.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously: Ensures efficient handling of various troubleshooting tasks.
- Collaboration: Experience working with IT units in different time zones to ensure seamless support and coordination.
- Technical Support: Offer first-line support for IT-related issues, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network problems.
- User Assistance: Help employees with the installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of system hardware and software.
- Problem Resolution: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, including account setup and network configuration.
- System Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance on computer systems and networks to ensure optimal performance.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of all IT support requests and resolutions.
- Training: Provide training and guidance to users on the proper use of IT resources and tools.
- Security: Implement and maintain security protocols to protect the organization's data and IT infrastructure.
